Trust God's timing
Many Christians today think that you cannot be happy unless you are in a relationship or in marriage. Many believe that you have to settle down and have a family and get married in order for your life to be satisfied. But that is not true. You can be single and still be happy and content. You do not need to be in a relationship in order for your life to go right.
Many people are lonely and desperate for relationships and marriages because they are alone and do not want to stay alone or lonely. That is the wrong way to go about it. We should be content in our season of singleness because it allows God to work on us and on our hearts preparing us for the one that He has for us in His timing.
We should focus on our relationship with Jesus Christ before we focus on a relationship or a marriage. Because we ultimately do not want to put a relationship before God and idolize it. We do not want to idolize a person and put them before God. So it is important that we focus on growing in our faith and relationship with God before we do with someone else.
Allow God to heal your heart and mind and prepare you for marriage in His right timing. Trust in Him and His will, plan, and purpose for your life. Trust that He knows what is best for you and who is best and His timing is perfect.
Psalm 27:14 says, "Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord."
