There are many voices clamoring for our attention. There is the voice of the enemy, the world's voice, our voice, and then, there is God's voice. How can you know and hear God's voice? 

So many are jumping around from one relationship to another because they want to fill a void that only God can fill. People think that a relationship with a man or woman is going to make them truly happy and content in the moment. It may be temporary, but what you really need is a relationship with God first. When you have a relationship with Jesus Christ, all other relationships will fall into place.

We all go through storms in life, whether it is a loss of a loved one, a loss of a job or finances, or a failed marriage. Whatever the storm is that you are going through, you can experience the peace and joy in the midst of it. God can give you peace and joy that this world does not offer. It is a peace and joy that is unlike any other. In the midst of the chaos and confusion, there is peace. There is a tranquility and a peace that can only come from Jesus Christ. It does not come from an anxiety medication or a drug or alcohol. It comes from the presence of God. 

The Christian life is not easy. You will be faced with trials of many kinds. These trials are a test of our faith in Christ. Are we going to continue to stand strong and firm in the face of adversity? Are we going to continue to trust God in the midst of the storm? The trials we go through may not be fun or exciting. Oftentimes, these trials are painful. The trials we go through will build strong faith and character. We will come out stronger and better than when we first started. 

What matters most is...

How is God going to provide? Will He come through for me? 

We all are waiting for something. We all are waiting for Christ to return. We may be waiting for a job interview. Maybe we are waiting to meet our spouse and get married, or we may be waiting to have a child and give birth. Whatever it is we are waiting for, we can trust that God is going to bring it to pass in His perfect timing. We just need to keep trusting Him and His timing.

Not everyone has parents in their lives. Many have lost their parents when they were young due to an illness or a car accident or something else. Many did not grow up with their parents because they were adopted. But if you have your parents in your life you are blessed and fortunate. Having parents in your life is a blessing because they are always there for you even when no one else is besides God. God is always with us even if we do not have parents in our lives because He will always take care of us. But to have parents in your life is a blessing because they are with you through the good and the bad. They are there to support you and help you get back on your feet again even if you have fallen. God will help us get back on our feet too because He is our loving Heavenly Father. He takes good care of His children and provides for all their needs.

It can be so easy to compare ourselves when we are on social media or in person. We scroll through our news feeds on social media and see what looks to be picture perfect lives. By looking at peoples pictures, it looks like they have the most perfect lives. It looks like they have everything going for them. It looks like they have the perfect marriage, the perfect job, the perfect child, etc.

Many Christians today think that you cannot be happy unless you are in a relationship or in marriage. Many believe that you have to settle down and have a family and get married in order for your life to be satisfied. But that is not true. You can be single and still be happy and content. You do not need to be in a relationship in order for your life to go right.

You may be preparing to move, whether that is a physical move or a spiritual move. Maybe  you are moving to a new city, state, or country. Or maybe you are moving to a new school or job. Or maybe you are about to get married and have children. Whatever the move may be, we can prepare ourselves ahead of time. I am going to be sharing how you can prepare for a move. 

You may be feeling alone or lonely right now. You may be feeling alone or lonely because you do not have a big support system in your life. You may not have too many friends and family. Or maybe your friends and family are distant and so you rarely talk to them.

Many Christian today go on dating websites because they want to find love. They think that their mate is on these sites. I am not saying that God cannot use a dating website to help you find your spouse. What I am saying is that there are a lot of desperate people in these dating websites. There are also kidnappers and rapests on these dating websites. So we need to be careful. There are people on these dating websites that will take advantage of women and will want to date them just for sex. 

Many do not know if they are called to marriage. Many do not know if it is God's will for them to marry or to get married. I want you to know if you have the desire for marriage, then it is God's will for you. If you have the desire to bear children, then it is God's will for you. God wants what is best for you and your godly desires are His desires. He wants to bless you with those desires. There is a difference between godly desires and sinful desires. Godly desires are from God, but sinful desires are from the world or from the enemy or the flesh. When we want to fulfill our God's will in our lives, we will want to see those godly desires comes to pass. Some examples of godly desires can be a ministry, a career or education, a child, or a marriage. God sees our hearts and He wants to fulfill these desires in His timing. We just need to come to Him with our desires and make them known to Him. Present your requests to God. He will answer those prayers according to His will and timing.

Many are lonely and desperate to be in a relationship or to get married and have kids. But many are not willing to wait on God for the right person that He has for them in the right timing. Many settle because of the influence of family members or the pressure of family members to be with the wrong person. There may be a family member that helps a person to get a spouse. But that person is not from God, but from the enemy. Because they were not willing to wait, but settled outside of God's will they are with the wrong person. God does not want us to end up with counterfeits. He wants us to wait for His very best or for the man or woman that is in His will for us to be with in His perfect timing. But not many are willing to wait because they are desperate and lonely or they do not want to be alone. When you wait on God, I promise it will be worth it rather than settling out of your flesh, feelings, and emotions. Waiting on the Lord brings true peace and joy that comes from Jesus Christ. You will be most happy you did rather than settling outside of God's will. Trust in God and His timing. He knows best for you and what is best!
