We have a real enemy and his name is satan. The enemy hates Christians and believers. The enemy knows his time is short. He knows that he already lost the battle. He knows that his time is coming. So he wants to try to attack as many Christians as he possibly can. The devil wants Christians to give up on their faith, on God, and on their lives. The enemy wants to cause people to die any early death and to be separated from God for eternity. But that is not God's will. Jesus Christ's will is for everyone to come to repentance and to be saved. The enemy wants to try to attack your faith and your mind with doubts, fears, anxieties, and worries. Whenever these things come up, rebuke them right away. The Bible says in James 4:7, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." The Bible says in John 10:10, "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."

There are many voices clamoring for our attention. There is the voice of the enemy, the world's voice, our voice, and then, there is God's voice. How can you know and hear God's voice? 

So many are jumping around from one relationship to another because they want to fill a void that only God can fill. People think that a relationship with a man or woman is going to make them truly happy and content in the moment. It may be temporary, but what you really need is a relationship with God first. When you have a relationship with Jesus Christ, all other relationships will fall into place.

We all go through storms in life, whether it is a loss of a loved one, a loss of a job or finances, or a failed marriage. Whatever the storm is that you are going through, you can experience the peace and joy in the midst of it. God can give you peace and joy that this world does not offer. It is a peace and joy that is unlike any other. In the midst of the chaos and confusion, there is peace. There is a tranquility and a peace that can only come from Jesus Christ. It does not come from an anxiety medication or a drug or alcohol. It comes from the presence of God. 

Many are trusting the their works or in religion to save them instead of trusting in Jesus Christ alone. Many believe that all roads lead to heaven. Many believe that all religions lead to heaven. But there is only one way to get to heaven that is through Jesus Christ alone. Only Jesus Christ can save us and give us eternal life. It is not by trusting in our church attendance, or giving our tithes to the poor, or getting baptized. It is by repenting and turning away from our sins and putting our faith and trust in Jesus Christ. That is the only way to be saved. Our good works are evidence of our faith in Christ. Our good works are evidence that our faith is real and genuine faith. Faith in Christ will produce good works. So our good works do not save us but we are created in Christ Jesus to do good works. 

The Christian life is not easy. You will be faced with trials of many kinds. These trials are a test of our faith in Christ. Are we going to continue to stand strong and firm in the face of adversity? Are we going to continue to trust God in the midst of the storm? The trials we go through may not be fun or exciting. Oftentimes, these trials are painful. The trials we go through will build strong faith and character. We will come out stronger and better than when we first started. 

Many people do not know how to obey God. Many think that obeying God is doing all these religious rituals and customs. But obeying God is more than that. God is not looking at religion. He is looking at a relationship with us.

What matters most is...

How is God going to provide? Will He come through for me? 

We all are waiting for something. We all are waiting for Christ to return. We may be waiting for a job interview. Maybe we are waiting to meet our spouse and get married, or we may be waiting to have a child and give birth. Whatever it is we are waiting for, we can trust that God is going to bring it to pass in His perfect timing. We just need to keep trusting Him and His timing.
